It's been a whirlwind the last five weeks! We started a new quarter and track season is starting to look like track season! The sun has finally visited the Flathead Valley!

In class we have been extremely busy. In 7th Grade students have created various presentations about a chosen artist, (art history included), along with an analysis of the Elements of design in one or more of their chosen artists body of work.

7th Grade has also been working on creating a cardboard relief project. They are only using primary colors to create secondary and tertiary colors. They also have to mix their own black to create shades. White will be made available so that they can also create tints of colors.

In 8th Grade we have been busy with our Extended Learning Projects. Students are now two weeks into the project. This is a self directed, teacher supported project. Each student has a blog. You can find these blogs in the drop down list on the site menu.

We are also continuing with our exploration with the Google Tilt brush. Here is a sample that is being  created by my 8th Grade B 1/2 homeroom.
