8th Grade Blog Grading Criteria

8th Grade

Today we discussed how each blog post will be assessed. Students were to:
  1. Go to http://bit.ly/elp-blog-criteria and copy the HTML on this page
  2. Students were to go to https://blogger.com, Login, and create a new post
  3. Students were to click on the HTML button
  4. Paste or Ctrl+V the HTML into the blogger post
  5. Students were to click the Compose button
  6. Students entered a blog title of: Blog Grading Criteria
  7. Finally click on the Publish button
It was made clear that two (2) blog posts are due by the end of the day Friday September 29th.

Blog Grading Criteria

The following criteria below outlines how each blog post will be graded

Blog - Each blog post must contain specific criteria:
  1. Your blog will have: four complete sentences with proper capitalization, punctuation, and no spelling errors.
  2. The four sentences will contain:
    1. One sentence will describe in detail a project update. What did I do on my project
    2. One sentence will explain in detail my biggest problem while working on my project.
    3. One sentence will explain in detail the solution to my biggest problem.
    4. One conclusion sentence on:
      1. What do I plan to do next?
      2. What materials do I need?
      3. Or a simple wrap up.
  3. Two photos or images of my project are included.
    1. You are NOT required to be in the photos.
