Ceramics - Power Plate

Today we reviewed ceramic terminology and tools. Today we also discussed the power plate and our ceramics assignment. Students were asked to think of what type of plate they would like to create.

It was explained that students needed to develop a coil styled plate with various foods that represented the power plate. We developed sketches today. Some students finished their still life drawings today.

Students were also asked to self assess their still life drawings, and then I met individually with each student and then we went over the rubric together.
