Scratch Day 3

Students have been working pretty hard on their games. We are starting to get a sense of how Pixlr works and learning some basic computer knowledge such as:

• How to save or open files. 
• Distinguish between different file formats or extensions 
• .pxd
• .png
• .jpg or .jpeg
• .gif
• Upload and download files
• What is the H: drive?
• What is Google Drive?
• What is (http://goo.gl)?
• What is opacity?

We also reviewed http://cooltext.com which allows students to create interesting text images using the vast set of fonts on this site.

Most students completed Step 2 and a few students were on Step 3 of the tutorial:
