- Students received two items today:
- ELP Contract which due Monday February 10, 2014. This is to be signed by a parent.
- ELP Blog update dates. The first entry is due Friday February 7, 2014.
Escape the Room Game
- First students were to discover an artist either by researching on the Internet or by perusing the Scholastic Art magazines in the classroom.
- Students created three different backdrops today
- Introduction - this was a title of their escape the room game and establishing the artistic theme using a fine artists artwork.
- Directions - At minimum these included:
- Find three hidden objects in the room and discover art some art history about (name of artist here) to escape the room.
- Some hidden objects may be useful to escape the room.
- Press the spacebar to continue.
- Main Room
- Students learned in class about the power of the "Free Distort" tool in Pixlr. This tool allows you to alter the perspective of a layer to create a three dimensional effect.

- Students then took a screenshot of their Chromebooks and then updated their Scratch blogs with three to four good sentences describing what the learned today.
