8th Grade Scratch

Today we started a Scratch Art project.

In this project students will be asked to create a three-dimensional room in which a user must find three clues and learn art history in order to escape the room. In addition an inventory of items or tools will be displayed to the user to be used in the game.

The game will include the following different backdrops:
  1. Game introduction or splash screen introducing the game
  2. Directions on how to play the game
  3. The main room
  4. Art history
  5. Win
  6. Credits for any information regarding the master work in the room and any associated references to the art history
In class today we set up the shell of our game. We went over some simple blocks to switch backdrops, broadcast ( ), when I receive ( ), when ( ) is pressed, hide, and show blocks.

Below is the basic steps we did on Friday in Scratch.
