Kites & Introducing Frida Khalo

Today will be the last day for in class time to work on your personal kite.

In class today we watched a couple clips from the film, "Frida" and then students shared a fact they had discovered about Frida Kahlo. We also had a check-in with our ELP projects. The due date is quickly approaching! Please make sure you check the scoring rubrics and the project guidelines. If you have any questions or difficulties.

La Casa Azul - The Blue House

Frida Kahlo's creative universe resided in the Blue House. This house was where Frida was born and would pass away in years later.

Although married to Diego Rivera lived in different places in the City of Mexico and abroad, Frida always returned to his house in Coyoacan.

Located at 247 London Street, one of the oldest and most beautiful neighborhoods of Mexico City.

The Blue House was converted into a museum in 1958, four years after the painter's death (Soto).

Explore Frida's world! The green dots allow you access into the home and gardens of Frida Kahlo. You can hide the map simply by clicking on the "x" next to Cerrar mapa or Hide map!

Happy exploring!!!
